Panasonic AG-HMC40
Snagah Studios considered using various cameras to bring SITD to life while staying inside the the film's budget. A longtime fan of Panasonic (having previously owned a AG-DVX100), the closest available option (the Panasonic AG-HVX200A) was still several thousand dollars above it's DSLR counterparts. Enter the HMC40, recommended via email (thanks Amazon), it's picture quality, versatility, durability cannot be matched by anything else within it's price range. It's the perfect tool for independent/up-and-coming film makers no matter what the project and Snagah Studios is PROUD to (potentially) be the first feature film to shoot with it.
Sony Vegas Pro
Writer/Director/Producer Robert Hagans, likes to brag that he's used "every popular NLE system on the market". But Sony Vegas Pro is the only one he OWNS - citing the smart, sensibly designed UI, impressive (in program) color correction options and it's continuing support of the AVCHD video codec. For an exceptional, speedy, professional NLE solution (for editing on a PC), look no further.
