Lauren Ash-Morgan
Lauren Ash-Morgan is fairly new to film, having performed in theater since age ten. She started out as a member of Kids’ Company, training and performing with the group for six years. Since then, she has trained at Ithaca College, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and the Shakespeare Theatre Company. She has played more than twenty theatrical roles, including Dame Ellen Terry in The Actor’s Nightmare, Mabel in The Pajama Game, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible. She is a trained musician and has a master’s degree in ethnomusicology, specializing in the performing arts of Korea. Having recently branched out into film, she has been performing in projects for the film programs at American University’s School of Communications and Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts as well as for local independent film companies. Her most recent role was as Isabelle in the film Back Home at American University, and she will soon be appearing in the films Drug Related II by MJD Productions and Dawn of the Sword by Bad Moon Productions.
